Wired News has a feature on the 10 Best NASA Spinoffs. I really like these reports that remind people how much we have received from the space program. It's been a great investment, but the public needs to be reminded of that.

This is great to hear, but I fear most people may not identify with any of these accomplishments (outside of the baby formula that good for the brain).
If NASA found a way to reverse Osteoporosis (which they would need for long space flights) then that would be huge news.
Just my two cents. ;-)
